According to Mayo Clinic, research has shown the high levels of caffeine in coffee can lead to increased anxiety and mild elevation in cholesterol levels.
On the other hand, an article published by Harvard Medical School describes research that supports evidence that coffee can reduce Type II diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, Parkinson's Disease, uterine and liver cancer, gout and cirrhosis.
Additionally, in 2016, coffee was officially lifted from the list of possible carcinogenic foods.
Coffee can help your body burn fat by increasing metabolic rates
