Winters in New England have been pretty strange the past few years. 60 degrees one day and a full on snow storm the next. It definitely makes it tough to figure out where to invest your staple wardrobe pieces. Here are a few pieces on my wishlist for that weird time between winter and spring ---

H&M Rib-knit Sweater - perfect color & weight for layering. I'd pair it with a midi skirt or boot cut jeans

H&M Rib-knit Cardigan - I would buy this one size up so it's slightly oversized and able to wear off the shoulder

H&M Rib-knit Skirt - these skirts are so versatile. I have another from Free People. Can be worn with booties and a graphic tee or a blouse and white sneakers.

Madewell Herringbone Sweater Coat - Beautiful coat that's slightly more lightweight than your winter coat. Would look great draped over the shoulder with an all black outfit. Buy true to size.

Madewell Trainers - an update on the all white sneaker trend with some additional neutrals. I'd wear these with everything.

Tortoiseshell Sunglasses - IMO, tortoiseshell classes up any outfit and you don't need to spend a fortune to get a quality pair.

Seamless Squareneck Tank - Just a great staple piece to have for layering.

Crossback Sweaterknit bodysuit - Another great neutral staple piece.

Tory Burch Wallet on a Chain - I've been carrying the least amount possible lately and love this teeny bag (might have something to do with having to lug around a diaper bag everywhere I go..)

Tory Burch Scarf - Lightweight scarves are a great way to add texture and depth to an outfit while giving you that little extra layer on chillier days. I love all the color-ways this one comes in.
