How do they work?

Essential oils are highly concentrated elixirs derived from plants. There are multiple ways you can use essential oils including diffusers, oils, sprays and pens.

Scent molecules travel through the olfactory system to the brain and produce "feel good" neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. The benefits of essential oils have a direct link to memory, emotions, blood pressure, breathing, heart rate, hormones and stress.

Because essential oils are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration it's important to look for completely natural organic plant essence when purchasing and do your research before using around children or pets, or if you're pregnant.

OK, SO HERE'S THE THING

I have to admit I used to be a skeptic about aromatherapy. After a few years of using a diffuser on am almost daily basis, as well as incorporating essential oils into my beauty routine (facial oils) and wellness, I am amazed at the effects they have on my mood. I even use a diffuser in my car on my way to and from work. My anxiety can be a real bitch sometimes so anything that can potentially help it subside I'm willing to try it out.
