& 3 things that totally don't.
What works for one doesn't necessarily work for all. But some things are just all hype and a total waste of time and money.
I tend to wait out new products, books, pretty much everything for just a bit to see if the buzz is just buzz or there is actually something behind all the excitement. Sometimes I still get burned by the hype though, and sometimes they turn out to be just as good, if not better than all the rave reviews.

Glow Recipe - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer and Sleep Mask
IMO: Save your money.
Cute packaging, decent price point, smells good. But honestly, did nothing to benefit my skin. It soaked in within seconds of putting it on and had no long lasting moisturizing benefits. I noticed no difference between the moisturizer and sleep mask other than the mask having a slightly more gel-like consistency.

Hydro Flask
IMO: Worth the splurge.
Clean look, not as heavy as I thought it would be and keeps my drink ice cold all day long. Also love that it comes in so many sizes and colors, with different lid variations. I have the 40 oz with the straw lid so it's easy to use while I'm driving since I work in sales and am in my car all dang day.
Kopari Coconut Melt
IMO: Good product but not worth the money.
I love Kopari for their honest ingredients and super cute packaging but at the end of the day you don't really need to be paying quite that much for pure coconut oil you can get at Whole Foods for half the price. Some of their other products (like the Coconut Crush Scrub) are totally worth it though.

BeautyCounter Countermatch Adaptive Body Moisturizer
IMO: Worth the splurge.
This not only doesn't feel greasy but works really well. I've been using it throughout my pregnancy and so far no stretch marks and my skin hasn't been dry (I have chronic dry skin on my body and face).
Coco & Eve Like a Virgin Hair Mask
IMO: Not worth it.
Cute packaging and smells amazing but I didn't notice any real differences in the softness of my hair after using it for a few months.

Ritual Vitamins (autodelivery)
IMO: So worth it.
I wouldn't really consider these vitamins a splurge. For $30/month you're getting all the vitamins you need in one, so you don't need to buy a bunch of separate supplements to take. Also, they get delivered straight to your door and don't have a gross after taste like so many other omega supplements have. The website tells you exactly where the ingredients are sources from (all are vegan!) so you don't need to worry about getting bad ingredients like you would if you ordered random supplement providers on Amazon. I currently get the Ritual Prenatals autodelivered every month (you want one with quality folate not folic acid).
